Armenian Unity started its activity in July 2020 in the city of Riga.

The Armenian community of Latvia is more than just an organization.
It is a home for everyone who carries Armenia in their heart, wherever they may live.
On February 2, 2021 Armenian Unity received an official permit from the Latvian Register of Enterprises to conduct non-commercial activities on the territory of Latvia.

We unite people of different generations and professions — connected by culture, language, faith, and a deep sense of belonging. We respect our history and traditions, while remaining open to the world and the future.

Our community has become a place where:

  • families and friends come together,
  • the Armenian language and music are heard,
  • children learn their native tongue,
  • important national and spiritual holidays are celebrated,
  • exhibitions, concerts, lectures, and cultural evenings are organized.

We actively cooperate with Latvian institutions, promote interethnic dialogue, and proudly contribute to the cultural and public life of the country.

The Armenian Unity team consists of Armenians with different work experience, education, and background. But all of them are united by their love for their historical homeland - Armenia, as well as the desire to unite the peoples of Armenia and Latvia, preserve the cultural heritage and traditions of the Armenian people, the written language, integrate the Diaspora in Latvia and introduce the residents of Latvia to Armenia.

For us, it's important not only to preserve Armenian heritage, but also to create a living, warm, and inspiring environment where everyone feels part of a big, supportive community.

Together we’ll create a strong Diaspora and Armenia!
